One Company's Quest for Southern Style

Fashion changes every minute, it belongs to the world and is a very public entity. Style on the other hand is a completely personal affair that takes some a lifetime to develop and embrace. Style can be focused to ultimately make fashion. In the case of this up-and-comer, it can be made into something preppy and profitable.

I have never understood why some men do not dress well. Let us call it a NEPA thing for now, I do not feel like giving up on finding a stylish stud of my own today. In other parts of the United States, being a stylish and preppy man is not a bad thing. Parts of the southern United States can be considered some of these places.

Style runs deep and Josh Harding has always been one to flock toward fashion. After moving down to South Carolina in 2007 he adopted a new lifestyle as a southern gentleman and made a bold move to start his own company, Coastal Tradition.

Seeing a void in an industry that is ever-changing, Harding and a friend realized that there was no one out there making and selling fine fraternity ties and bow ties. After buying his partner out he continued to grow his brand adding tote bags, hats, and sportsmen's ties to the Coastal Tradition item list as well as expanding. Coastal Tradition ties are carried in stores in nine different states below the Mason Dixon Line.

If you do not belong to a fraternity you can still wear Coastal Tradition. The brand also carries a line of 100% silk Repp ties from their "Regency Stripes" collection. These ties are perfect for any guy in a professional setting with or without a love of sports. The collection features 23 ties that are officially NCAA merchandised, they are each made in a different team's colors.

I may not be a mecca of information when it comes to menswear, but if I was going out on the town tonight I certainly wouldn't mind if my date were wearing one of these classy creations. Not to mention that a tie is a much cleaner way of showing team pride than a tacky jersey. Style is style, regardless.

Coastal Tradition, for those of us not living in the deep south, can be found online along with most of their products. On their site is a list of all stores the ties are carried in as well as contact information, just in case you feel the need to let them know how much you love their ties.

Harding seems to enjoy proving that guys can have style and with his lovely lady at his side, he is continuing to make Coastal Tradition all that it can be representing his brand at retail shows and sporting events alike all across the southern portion of the United States. Fingers crossed they decide to carry something for the ladies in the future.
