April: The month of April is all about the spring showers bringing May flowers, but just because the weather is supposed to be bleak doesn't mean your outfit needs to match it.
The Outfit:
Piperlime
Being that I basically lived in pants during the month of March, I'm switching things up for April and pulling on a dress. This peter pan color-blocked mini from Tinsley Road is pitch perfect for spring. Hitting the color-blocking trend in a subtle way it utilizes my favorite colors: cream, peach and navy for a super chic and retro inspired look. The mini has a bit of swing, ideal for a trendy shift like this and the black button detail on the side make this dress even more perfect.

The drop-waist allows for this shift to be fit-flattering on many different body types and the sleeveless style translates well into a professional or casual environment. Piperlime delivers in a major way, this Tinsley Road number is only $69.00 and is simply perfection for the spring season.

Loeffler Randall
Keeping with the retro-funk theme, these Loeffler Randall platforms would look darling with this outfit. At $350.00 they are a bit of a splurge, but they totally make this outfit. The polka-dotted base is different than anything else that I have seen currently on sale and the t-strap top is a completely fabulous detail. The shoe is leather, so it's sure to hold up for many seasons to come and the fact that it is nude in tone allows it to be worn with almost anything currently in your closet. The Chloe Platform Sandal is a great update on a traditional spring staple and I completely recommend it.

I like to keep jewelry simple and am a major fan of quirk so when I saw the Kate Spade idiom bracelets I fell in love. I would layer three of the bangles on top of each other on my left wrist, keeping with the color-blocking theme and knowing the secret idioms beneath each.
Kate Spade

Kate Spade
Not only are the bracelets adorable, but reasonably priced. The coral one, seen left, is only $32.00 and the black one seen right is a little over $10 more for $48. You can even get a little wild and throw an old watch on between the two to give your wrist a little bit of diversity.

As the rain falls down and the flowers being to bloom, grab an umbrella and prepare to race for your car in this adorable outfit. Picked by me, styled for you, only for the month of April.
Stay chic and shop on!
