February

In the month of February I want to wear a flirty, feminine outfit. I wanted to find pieces that were well made but would not break the bank. After scouring the clearance pages of a myriad of webstores I have put together a look stylish enough for any girly-girl.
Aerie
Jack Wills

Every outfit needs to begin with the right undergarments.  As always I recommend Aerie for your bases. Seen on the left are the Abigail convertible bra in sand dollar ($39.50) and for the bottom the vintage lace tanga in sherbet red ($12.50). These bases are sure to stay hidden under your super chic outfit and are almost as comfortable as the dress I recommend pulling on.

The dress I just referenced is the Jack Wills Bewdley Bodice Dress in red with white butterflies printed all over. Regularly retailing for $169 this cotton and silk dress is on clearance for $59. The top portion of the dress is fitted while the bottom falls right on trend with the idea of fit and flounce. With a zipper running up the back and a semi-sweetheart neckline, this Jack Wills number is more than casual enough to wear anywhere. The only flaw with this pick is that you will freeze if you wear it without tights and a sweater, but fret not dear reader, for I have found you a complete outfit. I would choose to wear a white cardigan, given that the print in the dress is this springy color.

ASOS

I found this Free People cardigan on sale at ASOS for $80.57. The burnout white is fun for the winter and can transition as easily into the summer as the Jack Wills dress seen above. What could be better than throwing on a soft, comfy cardigan over a silk fit and flounce dress before running out the door, perhaps for your morning cup of coffee.

Hue
Not to mention the versatility of the knit. It could just as easily be worn over a button up blouse with a pair of jeans.

Before we end this mini online shopping trip we need two more things to complete this outfit. The first is a great pair of white tights. I pick these textured tights from hosiery maker Hue (seen right). They cost $18 and again can be worn with so much more than this one outfit.

The Frye Company
I could not complete this page without giving you a killer pair of kicks to wear with this seemingly sweet ensemble.

May I present to you the red Frye boots that will daunt my dreams for the next month and a half. Earlier in the post I told you to fret not. Well you saved your tears for this moment, these beautiful leather riding boots are $378.00.

These American made miracles rise approximately to right below the knee and feature a buckle to tie the look together.

If you have the cash to spare, make the investment.  If not then lust away and dream of the day you may come to own your very own red riding boots.

Before you run out the door you need to accessorize this look in all the right ways.

Hobo International
This Hobo International single handled clutch ($148) is made of Italian top-grain leather that has been extra tumbled for a broken-in feeling and a little extra shine. The gold hardware acts almost as a bracelet as you push your wrist through the top handle, allowing you to not have to accessorize your arms allowing for a more fun neck bobble.

I cannot actually find the necklace my mind wants to put with this outfit. It would be something vintage, possibly a mix of gold and silver. Most likely something simple, so you do not overpower the printed dress.
