It's the night before fashion week and some design houses are feeling mischievous and offering up collection teases to bloggers, galore.
While Spring / Summer is always fun to see - the bright colors, wild prints and all over florals but the truth is as much as I adore the style of SS, my heart does backflips for Fall / Winter.
My curiosity is peeked when I got an email from Tracy Reese PR - I - died. The email contained the inspiration sketch for Reese's FW'13 collection (shown left).
If this is any indication, expect harsh contrasts from Reese's line. The bold, red poppy-esk flowers pop off the dress thanks to the base of black. This dress is the epitome of the modern lady. It seems to perfectly hug the female form in the most modest of ways, a slight frill and flounce at the bottom head gives it just the right amount of delicacy and the sleeveless style and picture neckline give it's wearer power.
I cannot wait to see the rest of the line and wonder which pieces will be snatched up by our stylish First Lady come fall, she has favored the brand in the past and it's no wonder why. Fingers crossed this harsh contrast follows through in more pieces.
You can watch the runway live on Sunday, February 10 at 2 PM at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week's website.
