Today was the official re-launch of the Erin Fetherston
e-commerce website. The designer and brand marked this milestone and stylish new style with special discounts that were tweeted from Fetherston's Twitter account @ErinFetherston and an extra special auction on the site. To celebrate her newly redesigned site, Fetherston chose a selection of her personal vintage collection to sell to the highest bidder!
The auction, which featured the likes of vintage Chanel (seen right), Lanvin and Sonya Rykiel will end June 12 at 11:59pm--the proceeds earned will last much longer. Fetherston chose the Charity:Water as the beneficiary of the funds raised through the limited time auction.
Many online shops are simply hard to navigate, with strong flash based graphics and poor site maps. I may have only ever taken one web design course but after years of shopping mainly online I know a good site when I see it. The new Fetherston site is clean and quite chic, something that is challenging to do online. Like the clothing sold on it, the website reflects the Fetherston brand and lifestyle: feminine and simple. It features an online shop, collection images, store locator and a blog including news, behind the scenes photos and inspiration boards. Customers can shop new arrivals from pre-fall and most of the spring collection at 40% off. They are also able to register for a loyalty program to redeem points for special discounts, promo codes and more according to a press release.

On top of the re-launch the Erin by Erin Fetherston pre-fall collection is spot-on trend and has me wanting more. Below are two looks from the collection. The black floral tank dress (left) is perfect for a casual trip into the city or a day spent hitting the books while the white embellished overlay dress (right) is begging to be worn to a wedding or a fun fall event like FNO or even BNO.
