May: Once the date turns from April to May, summer is in sight but the tricky thing is that you still have classes and work so professionalism is a most while still being calm, cool and chic.
The Outfit:
ASOS
I always adore the simplicity and scandal of a well worn bustier in the springtime. Combining that adoration of the classic silhouette with the trendiest shape, the peplum, and you are set to go with this Oh My Love Peplum bustier from ASOS. The top is made from a stretch pointe jersey and is a bodycon fit. The built in cups are perfect for a hot May day and for $45.45 you are sure to look white hot in this strapless top.

Being that I chose such a simple top for this month's look I went with a more wild bottom that is a statement for sure.
J.Crew

This J.Crew Number Two Pencil Skirt is sure to be a hit whether you are running to the office for a quick mid-afternoon meeting or a out for dinner with friends. The print screams, right here--right now with it's soft blue and contrasting brash red. Seemingly Americana with it's basic color scheme, it is sure to be a hit and is currently on sale for $98.00 in this fun 'Poppy Grove' pattern. What I adore about this skirt is its contrast to the overtly sexy top. The pencil shape is demure yet alluring, fitted yet long in length. It leaves something to the imagination, a fact that every lady loves.

Zara
This transitional month is all about getting ready for summer fun and in my mind nothing is more fun than a jelly sandal. This childhood staple makes a grown-up comeback thanks to Zara and this strappy delight. The ivory tone doesn't fight with the pattern in the skirt while blending with the top and the fun embossed touches make this shoe perfect for the grown-up girl who just wants to play with plastic shoes. At $99.00 these heels are a bit of a splurge but totally attainable. I adore.

House of Harlow
Finally, I chose this cobalt House of Harlow shoulder bag to top off this spring hit. The Riley bag is the most expensive piece in this look at $225.00 but with it's bold geometric cuts and chain handle, it is sure to be used more than a few times.
